Dogs are not for nothing called "the best friend of man". When you come home after a long day at work, they are already waiting at the door, tail waving and greet you with great joy. Dogs give us affection and give you the feeling to be needed. The cuddly animals prepare big friends and delight us with their dreamy eyes. We have put together for you 5 reasons why everyone should have a dog.
1. Health Since you have to "go" with your dog regularly, you are automatically more often in the fresh air than people who do not own a dog. Dog owners therefore move more often and often have a stronger immune system. 2. TogethernessDog owners are less likely to develop seasonal depression during the cold winter months. Especially singles, who are often alone on cold winter evenings, do well to have a four-legged friend by their side. With a dog you feel less alone. 3. Responsibility Dogs teach us to take responsibility: they need to be educated, fed and cared for. Especially couples with desire to have children are prepared for the role as parents by educating a dog. And children learn by a dog a sense of responsibility . 4. Contacts Connecting dogs: Walking with your dog makes it easier to get in touch with other people. Either because other dogs go to their own dog and thus a conversation between the dog owners takes place or because others are so taken with the dog, that they really want to pet him. A walk with flirting guarantee ! 5. Shut downDogs help us to switch off from stressful everyday life and make us more patient and calm. By cuddling and caring with them, we forget other things that annoy us, make us sad or angry. Dogs can be seen to make our lives more beautiful and happy. We can learn from them and always rely on them.

I know my dobermans can be quite the handful, toby just seems to shed way more than a doberman should and ashley just seems to leave a wake of destruction after her wherever she goes!
So my biggest tip is definitely to get a proper vacuum cleaner. Buying a vacuum specifically for pet hair was the best choice I ever made! I’m sure the dogs disagree, they tend to scurry off whenever they see it being taken out the cupboard but it just does such a good job with pet hair. I honestly don’t know how I ever managed before! So if you do anything definitely do that. My second biggest tip has got to be get the hose out. Not as ideal in winter but giving them a good hose down goes a long way in keeping the house clean. ANd you can make it a game! It won’t work for every dog but getting them de-mudded after a long walk then towled down in the porch is such a big help. Finally, keep everything out of reach! Ashley is like a child, always peering on counters and trying to drag stuff off. So many tea towels cut down in their prime… and once the fatal mistake of using a table cloth. Never again… Carnage… But if you’re dobermans aren’t completely mental like mine are then you can always just stick with the vacuum, it’ll make the biggest difference anyway. Chow for now. Many choose a different name for their puppy than originally received from the breeder. This is not tragic, as the Dobie can get used to it very quickly at that age. But how do they learn to listen to their new name?
It is best to start in a quiet environment and watch the moment when the Doberman puppy is not busy with anything else. Be sure to have treats, a great toy or praise with pats and words. For if you call his name joyfully and loudly, and your dog reacts and looks to you, then an effusive praise and a reward should follow. The Dobie will learn: When I am called something pleasant or exciting happens. Once he has understood this, he will always respond with joy and curiosity and focus entirely on you. Finally, the sound of his name should arouse his full attention and guide you in every situation. In the first few days should therefore always apply: name call - dog is attentive - reward! The praise can slowly become less and less later. If he does not respond to the call during the training phase, please do not say his name in an endless loop. This just dulls and the word becomes meaningless. Try it again later. Especially beginners make some mistakes in dog grooming. So that dog owners can also care for the dog at home saloon level, the following things should be considered. Of course, in the beginning, the question arises about the " how often "?
If the dog is kept in its own four walls, it can be bathed 1-2 times a month. Unfortunately, some owners tend to put the dog in the tub almost every day. This in no way improves the dog fur, but even destroys the natural protective layer . Scale formation is inevitable because frequent washing destroys the process of secretion formation. This secretion acts as a moisturizer for the skin and naturally stops illnesses. With the help of dry care products, the dog can also be washed in between without adding water. The grooming should be done with a brush every two days, with long-haired breeds, of course, the brush may be swung daily. Dogs like to roll in the sand, dirt, dirty water and soil. Especially when the dog returns to the house, the well-being and health of the animal and man must be respected. In this case, a bath is not only important for the dog. Shampoo, conditioner In addition to a special dog shampoo, the owner also needs a rubber mat, terry towel, combs and brushes and a hairdryer for a pleasant dog bath. Not many owners buy the dog their own shampoo but use the human shampoo. However, this should not happen, because this use can lead to allergies, destroy the fat layer and cause dandruff. Depending on the breed of dog, there are special dog shampoos and rinses in stores. A rubber mat prevents serious accidents, so the owner should place a non-slip mat in the bathtub. So that the dog gets no drafts while bathing all doors and windows should be closed. To avoid any knots and tangles during washing, the dog should be combed thoroughly before bathing. So not only the dust is removed from the fur, but also knots and debris. When bathing, if possible, there should be two people . One person keeps the dog and prevents him from running away and the other person is completely devoted to grooming. Pay attention to the correct water temperature Of course, the water should not be so hot, so you should choose the bath temperature at 35 degrees. The dog should be wet from the back to the front with the water. So that no water penetrates the ears, the ears should be pressed down. After the coat has been soaked well, the dog is shampooed. The dog's head should not come in contact with shampoo if possible to avoid eye contact with the shampoo. After shampooing, the dog is thoroughly rinsed from the back to the front. A rinse , especially in long-haired dog breeds for less Ziepen brushing and combing. With the help of a terry towel , the dog is dried after the intensive bath. So that the dog does not catch cold he should be blown with a hairdryer . Keep a distance of 50cm so that the sensitive dog's skin is not burned. Of course, praise and treats are part of a successful wash day and make it a positive experience. Some puppies realize very quickly that piles and rivulets are not wanted in the house, others take a bit longer to become housebroken. However, you can significantly influence this process. Please read the following tips:
1. Regular times In the first few weeks, go out in a regular rhythm with the puppy. Also at night. About every 2-3 hours during the day, a bit less during the night. The more often you go outside, the greater the chances that the puppy will actually do business there. Of course, you should always make a huge and joyous theater and praise a lot, so that little Dobi learns, it was right, what he did. 2. Good Observation Sniffing the puppy intensely on the floor or in the corners of your home, he seeks a place to release. Some are also restless and run back and forth or go to the front door and wait there. In this case, leave him in the garden or go out for a short time. By the way: After eating, playing or sleeping most puppies have to do their job. 3. Fixed Feeding Times If the Dobermann puppy always gets its food at fixed times, the feces sales are also made at regular intervals. You can align longer gas rounds afterwards. 4. Puppy toilet in the house If you like, you can offer the Dobi a place in the house right from the start, where it may dissolve. On the balcony, in the bathroom or elsewhere. So the puppy can do his or her emergency there in an emergency or at night if you do not want to get up so often. Use a dog toilet, training pads, newspaper, or other absorbent pad. However, it could be difficult to get the Doberman off the hook again. |
